The History Behind Requiem
As I stated on the intro page, Requiem has been in the works for a long time. Although I decided not to finish (or release) this site -- after a recent replay of (possibly) my favorite Final Fantasy, I decided it was about damn time that I made a tribute to this amazing game.
Just to give you a little bit of background information... I first played this game in my sophomore year of high school, months after Final Fantasy VII had just been released. My brother had purchased (and beaten) Tactics, so he let me borrow it. After playing it once through, (and seeing the crazy ending), it stuck with me always, as being one of the most controversial, confusing games to ever be played.
After my second time playing it (about 3-4 years later), dear God, I was completely hooked. You could say I was a little bit obsessed. :] I started working on the site, and due to some silly web drama, I closed down my gaming domain and quit working on the site completely. Over the years, I played FFT sporadically but not in an obsessive fashion. Buuuut... this last time I played? I could not put it down. >_> I clocked in at 100+ hours and pretty much got the best everything, (including Elmdor's Genji Equipment), as well as all the secret characters. And I finally said to myself, "Sonia, you crazy fool... hurry up and make that damn Tactics site you've been wanting to make for years now." So, here we are. :]
Layout Design ; Version 02
Creation of version 02 was accomplished à la Photoshop CS2 and the archaic Notepad, bwahha. This particular design took me approximately an hour or so, and as you can probably tell, I was feeling pretty uninspired, due to a lack of good FFT images. :[ Anyway, I used textures from Of The Sky and also made absolutely sure that all of my HTML and CSS were 100% valid.

Can you tell that I'm a bit of a dork? :] So, what am I like? Let's see... I'm 25 years old, a scorpio (woo, yeah!), a devoted Christian, an obsessive game player (hello Tactics), a crazy pool junkie, and just an all around silly Korean girl. I'm a production support tech at Cox Communications, doing freelance advertising on the side, I love BLEACH, Otsuka Ai, and The All-American Rejects (especially the sexiness that is Tyson Ritter). In TV-Land, I enjoy that excellent piece of television programming called Grey's Anatomy (and various K-dramas). I also have two adorable dogs and live in the traffic capital of the south, Atlanta. Oh, and I'm sure this is fairly obvious, but I'm also the proud owner of ShinjiteNET, my collective domain.
